Yolinda Animal Hospital is pleased to offer the final owners of pets adopted from an approved shelter or rescue such as the Orange County Shelter a free wellness exam for that pet, free of charge. To receive this offer, you must bring your pet to see us within one month of the date of adoption.
This is our way of supporting the good work that these shelters and rescues do.
How do I know if a particular shelter or rescue is approved?
We sent a packet of information to as many qualifying local shelters and rescues as we could find. Ask them if they received this packet as it included a form which you can fill out and exchange for the free exam.
If the particular shelter or rescue you visited did not receive a packet, have them contact us and we will send them one. In the meantime, you can still get a free exam for that pet if you can (i) prove that you did indeed adopt your pet from a shelter or rescue AND (ii) that this shelter or rescue is an IRS-registered non-profit organization.
