Dr. Heather Chakrabarti
Originally from warm and humid West Palm Beach, Florida, Dr. Heather Chakrabarti moved to California to pursue her veterinary education at Western University of Health Sciences, graduating in 2025. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2017. Her professional interests include surgery and diagnostic imaging, and she is excited to bring her skills and passion for animal care to the team at Yolinda Animal Hospital.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Heather enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors. At home, she’s kept company by her two curious cats, Zeke and Jack, who live for mealtime and sun-soaked naps.
A fun fact: Dr. Heather is an avid traveller and once had the unforgettable experience of watching the sunrise on safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
